The Congregational Care Committee provides for various needs in the Southminster congregation. 
This is accomplished in several ways.
Fellowship and education can be found in the annual Spiritual Retreat, Day Trips, and "
Wonderful Wednesdays" Bible Study and dinner.
Our concern for one another is shown in the
shepherd program,
prayer chain, college care packages, hospital flowers, tape ministry, and special attention to members in the service.
In addition, we have lilies at Easter and poinsettias at Christmas to decorate the chancel during the season and which are given to shut-ins afterward.
The committee is also responsible for advertising in the newspaper and telephone book.
