Members of our congregation have participated in mission work trips sponsored by JCPDA.

In March of 2009 a trip to Lake Charles, LA was made to work on Mrs. Rosa Smith’s house that was damaged by hurricane Rita.  Trudi and Ted Scott, Rich and Sharon Marsh, Todd and Kathy Morriss joined 10 others from six churches in the Presbytery to work.  The list of things accomplished was long.  It was truly a case of receiving more than we gave.  Ms Rosa fed us lunch daily and it was filled with her love and joy and some Cajun soul.  We were blessed by her.
