Mission Statement
To seek out Godly people between the ages of 18-65, single or married, kids or no kids, church member or non-member for Entertainment, Activities, Alternative Devotional Insight (Upbeat Music, Devotion, Scripture Study, and so on) while keeping with the Christian faith and practices of the Presbyterian Church USA, To offer Support to all members who participate within the Presbyterian Church USA Family.
Definition of Seekers
Our motto is “Christian People who seek to follow God’s path”
Each Seeker affirms that Jesus Christ is their "Tracer", the Bible is their "GPS" and the church is their "Waypoint".
The Seekers is a volunteer organization within the church whose purpose is to serve as a support group to the church for selective service projects, and to sponsor gatherings for its group members for growth in their Christian life. These Gatherings include such events as the Family Fun Day, Sweetheart Dinner, Coffee Break, Tea Time, Adult Outings, Mission based Travel, BBQ, Dances and VBS based support and the list goes on… This is Activities for the Seekers group members…
Each Seeker member may be asked to perform addition Service Work or assistance to such Projects as the Easter Sunrise Continental Breakfast, 90th Birthday Celebrations for Southminster church members, Summer Ice Cream Social and Hanging – Un-hanging of the Greens for Christmas, November Wednesday Night Dinners.
A committee was formed to serve to organize and direct these various projects.
